Edit Recipient Details or Reset the Recipient for Your Campaign

When you add recipient details (name, email address, and phone number) to your campaign, you can make changes or reset the recipient depending on their status. Here’s how it works:


If the Recipient Has Not Accepted the Invitation

If the recipient has not yet accepted the email invitation to connect their bank account:

  1. Access Your Campaign Dashboard:

    • Log in to your GiveSendGo account.
    • Navigate to your campaign’s dashboard.
  2. Edit the Recipient Details:

    • Go to the 'Recipient Details' tab.
    • Click the “Edit Recipient” button.
    • You’ll be presented with a new form to enter the recipient’s details (name, email address, and phone number).
    • Submit the updated form.

The updated recipient will receive a new invitation to connect their bank account.


If the Recipient Has Already Accepted the Invitation

If the recipient has already accepted the invitation, you won’t see the “Edit Recipient” option. In this case, here’s what to do:

  1. Contact Support:

    • Reach out to our support team by clicking the “Contact Us” button below.
    • Let us know the reason for the change (e.g., incorrect email address, wrong recipient added).
  2. Verification Process:

    • If the recipient has completed verification, we may need confirmation from the current recipient before making any changes.
    • Depending on the situation, we’ll guide you through the next steps, which could involve resetting the recipient.

Important Notes

  • If you need to replace the recipient entirely, it’s critical not to delete the original campaign. Doing so may delay the process.
  • Always double-check the recipient’s details before submitting them to avoid complications.
